The drive from London is roughly five hours via the M40 and M6, and onsite parking is free.

All the rooms share the same elegant and luxuriously simple style. They have a country casual feel with no ornaments or unnecessary table lamps or statement pieces. Instead guests will find unvarnished fruitwood Gustavian furniture, chocolate carpets, dove-grey walls and shimmery fabrics in silver and delicate aqua. Velvet chairs, and a gauzy canopy floating over the bed add a hint of richness. All have garden views, while old-fashioned books on garden trees or local history.
