Belmond Eagle Island Lodge is perched on a tranquil island deep inside the wildlife-rich Okavango Delta. It amongst the most environmentally friendly lodges in the country with its private drives being a truly intimate way to get closer to the country's natural wonders. The lodge boasts the rich history of Botswana with it being established in 1900’s when intrepid explorers and crocodile hunters first flocked to the delta.

Location

Eagle Island Lodge is a 20-minute flight from Maun airport (the gateway to the Okavango Delta) and a 90-minute flight from Johannesburg and 2 hours from Cape Town. The camp is 20 minutes from Maun airport
