Location
- The &Beyond-Sossusvlei Desert Lodge is located in the northern section of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, on the eastern boundary of the Namib Naukluft National Park.
- If you are arriving private lodge airstrip: It’s a 1 hour 15 mins fixed wing or a 1 hour 30 mins helicopter flight from Windhoek, followed by a short 10 min road transfer to the lodge. There are also scheduled daily charter flights to lodges private airstrip.
- For self-drive: It’s advisable to use 4x4 vehicle during the rainy season, from November to May. It’s a 400km (248 mi) drive from Windhoek & a 308km (236 mi) drive from Swakopmund on good quality gravel roads.
