Countries around the world are slowly opening their borders and allowing specific category of travellers to visit. As a result, some of the countries have re-commenced processing visa applications including a few of them who use Visa Facilities Services (VFS) for facilitating their visa Process. Here is an update on the countries that have commenced processing visa applications.

• TURKEY:
  With immediate effect until further notice, VFS has stopped accepting applications for all types of visa categories due to changes in visa fees. They will resume once the new visa fees are finalised.
• THAILAND:
  VFS in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai & New Delhi has started accepting all types of visa category applications.
• SOUTH AFRICA:
  From 23^rd November 2020, the South African Consulate in India has resumed all types of visa category applications in Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi and Kolkata. As part of the health and safety precautions, prior appointment is mandatory to visit the centres.
• CANADA:
  From 25th November 2020, Canada visa applicants who have submitted online applications for family class priority – spouses, partners and children (FCP) category can enroll for biometrics at Canada Visa Applications Centres in 6 cities - Delhi, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. For all other categories, biometric enrolments & paper applications are not being accepted until further notice.
• USA:
  The US Consulate in India has started accepting applications for renewal of certain non-immigrant visa categories, including B-1, B-2 and H-1B. As of now, only drop box applications are being accepted for certain visa categories, including renewals for B-1 and B-2 visas & H-1B. In addition, the US Consulate has extended validity of MRV receipt till 30th September, 2022 for all those applicants who are unable to attend or schedule their appointment due to Covid-19.
• UK:
  UK High Commission & All VFS Centre have resumed their services & accepting all type of visa category applications including Tourist, Family Visit and Business Visas.
• Oman:
  Oman Embassy in India has started accepting applications in the Business and Family visit visa category.
• Italy:
  Italy Consulate has started accepting applications for D category as well as for C visit. Applicants (EU Citizen of immediate family members) with invitation from Italy can apply for Tourist Visa for the couple.
• Belgium:
  Belgium Embassy has started accepting applications for the limited D category & C Category visa (which only includes spouse & children upto 21 years of Belgium & EU Nationals)
• UAE:
  UAE Immigration has started accepting applications for 30 & 90 days tourist visa category as well as 48 & 96 hours visa.
