Frequently Asked Questions

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
  • Please click on the SIGN UP button and select your preferred session/s
  • You will receive a ‘registration successful’ auto email to the mail ID provided in the registration form
  • We will then send you a confirmation email with a summary of the experiences you have booked and the total amount to be paid
  • Payment can be made by credit card, NEFT, Paypal, PayTM & Google Pay. We will confirm receipt of the payment
  • While we suggest that you add the date and time of the experiences booked in your calendar, we will send you a reminder email 24 hours prior to the experience
  • On the morning of the experience, we will send you the session link and password on email as well as Whatsapp (to the number provided in the registration form)
  • You’ll connect with us and your guide for the session through video-conferencing software called Zoom. We recommend you Download Zoom onto your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet, and test it before your booking.
  • You will need to have a stable internet connection – Zoom recommends a connection speed of 2mbps up/down.
HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR EXPERIENCE?
  • Please connect 10 mins before the time to make sure everything is working properly
  • Connect using the name you provided in your booking, so we recognise you and admit you – we want to make sure it’s private and just for your group.
  • Make sure you are in a quiet area as background noise can make it difficult for others to hear you.
  • We recommend you mute yourself until you’re ready to speak
  • We also recommend you click on SPEAKER VIEW so you can see the speaker at all times during the session. (top right hand side of your screen on a PC or Mac)
  • If possible, use headphones
  • You can choose whether to use your camera or not – we recommend you use your camera to make the experience more personal
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO BRING?

Bring a notepad with questions and, depending on the day and time, a cup of hot coffee/ hot chocolate/ tea or your favourite sundowner cocktail!

CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?

You can cancel your booking upto 10 days before the date of the experience. An administration fee of Rs 100 will be charged and the rest refunded. Bookings cancelled within 10 days of the experience will be non refundable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WI-FI CONNECTION DROPS?

We recommend that log in 10 – 15 minutes before the session to ensure that your connection is stable, that your camera, speakers and microphone work, and you are comfortable using Zoom. If it drops during the meeting, you can log in again. For paid sessions, there is no refund for dropped connections unfortunately.

If the guide is disconnected from the experience:
  • The session host will update you on the difficulties being experienced by the guide.
  • If the guide is not able to reconnect within 10min of losing connection, we’ll help to reschedule the experience to catch up on the time you missed out on.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN JOIN ON MY LINK?

We recommend no more than 2 participants on a single link, as it becomes challenging for the guide and host to interact personally if there are more

IS THERE ANY RULES / ETIQUETTE TO BE FOLLOWED DURING THE SESSION?
  • Please keep your device on mute during the session
  • We recommend speaker view during the session and gallery view for the Q&A
  • The Q&A will be at the end of the session – you can post your question/s in the chat window and our team will ask the speaker at the appropriate time. Some questions may even be answered in the chat window. If there are any unanswered questions, please feel free to email us and we will try and reply to you later
  • Any inappropriate behaviour during a session (decided at the discretion of the host) may result in the host removing you from the session. No refund will be applicable in such circumstances
