Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – 4 th June 2008 - Fly Mumbai to Copenhagen (D)
Today, you will be booked on a flight from Mumbai to Copenhagen .
Copenhagen , the capital of Denmark , charms people of all ages. Copenhagen has been Denmark 's capital for 600 years. It's a city that gleams with a contemporary edge, but seems to take you back hundreds of years. Style and substance rule happily from a well-designed throne.
On arrival, the transfer to the hotel will be arranged for you.
The rest of the evening will be at leisure.
Dinner and accommodation at Scandic Hotel Sydhavn (or similar)
Day 2- 5th June 2008 - Copenhagen Sightseeing & Visit Tivoli Garden (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning, after breakfast, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Copenhagen . Copenhagen once a humble fishing village today the glittering capital of the Danish empire. Copenhagen is considered as one of the world's premier capitals of design and Scandinavia 's pre-eminent city. The city's 1000 year history written by ambitious kings, inspiring artist and designers, are found in the sumptuous palaces, copper roofed town houses and atmospheric cobbled squares. Sights of interest are Hans Christian Andersons fairy tale character the Little Mermaid, the old port of Nyhavn , the Gefion Fountain, the Royal Palace of Amalienborg and the Danish parliament Christiansborg (entrances included).
We will then proceed to a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. You can spend the rest of the day at Copenhagen 's famous Tivoli Garden (entrance included; transfers excluded). Tivoli Garden located in the heart of the city, has theatre, concerts, amusement rides, flower gardens and twinkling lights. Dinner will be on your own.
Accommodation at Scandic Hotel Sydhavn.
Day 3 – 6 th June 2008 - Morning at leisure; evening board ferry to Oslo (B,D)
This morning, after breakfast, the day will be at leisure. We recommend a visit to the shopping area called “Strøget”, which is the world's longest pedestrian shopping street. The shops and department stores along Strøget offer everything from world-famous Danish design to trendy clothing, antiques and souvenirs.
Alternatively, you may with to enjoy a little cruise on the canals, or a visit to the Carlsberg Brewery Visitors Centre (free entrance!), which is located in the old part of the Carlsberg Brewery. Possibility as well to visit the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Factory, where you can have a guided tour of the museum, showrooms, and workshop.
After checking out, the transfer to the ferry terminal will be arranged for you. At 17:00 hours, you will travel on one of DFDS Seaways' finest cruise ferries, the M/.S. Crown or the M/S. Pearl of Scandinavia from Copenhagen to Oslo , in Norway .
Accommodation in a 2-berth inside cabin on DFDS Seaways . Dinner buffet served on board.
Day 4 – 7 th June 2008 - Arrival into Oslo ; City tour of Oslo (B,D)
Breakfast on board.
On arrival to Oslo this morning, you will be picked up from the pier and you will enjoy a panoramic city tour of Oslo .
Sights of interest are Karl Johan`s Street, the Parliament building, the old theatre and university as well as the Royal Palace (no entrances included). Furthermore you will visit the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park , the Holmenkollen ski-jump with fantastic views over the city and fjord below, the Fram exploration, the Kon-Tiki and Vikingship museums at the Bygdøy Peninsula (entrances included).
On conclusion of the tour, you will be taken to the hotel.
The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure. In the afternoon, we suggest a stroll around Aker Brygge, the harbour area, with a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Alternatively, you could visit the Akershus castle (entrance free).
Dinner in the Great India Restaurant.
Overnight at Rica Victoria Hotel Oslo (or similar).
Day 5 – 8 th June 2008 - Oslo to Bergen (B,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast this morning, the transfer to the railway station will be arranged for you. You will take a train from Oslo to Myrdal. From Myrdal, continue by the Alpine train to Flam, a 60 minutes panoramic train ride through a breathtaking scenery with constantly changing panorama of sky-high mountains, thundering waterfalls and green pastures at the bottom of the valley.
Later enjoy the cruise from Flåm to Bergen on the Sognefjord the world's longest fjord. This region, where the deep fjord meets the glaciers and Norway 's highest mountains, is considered one of the world's most beautiful travel destinations.
Bergen , often called gateway to the fjords, is the second largest city in Norway , and used to be a very important seaport town. The famous Bryggen harbour is a huddle of timber buildings sheltering museums, restaurants and art shops here you also find the fish and flower market where you will find cheap and very tasty seafood snacks. The narrow alleys offer a glimpse of the stacked-stone foundations and reconstructed rough-plank construction of centuries past.

Day 6 – 9 th June 2008 - Explore Bergen (B,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the pier and you will begin a panoramic city tour of Bergen . You will be taken on an orientation tour of the Wharf displaying the Fish-a UNESCO World Heritage Site and flower market. Located in the very heart of Bergen , the market with it's abundance of fish, flowers, fruit, vegetables, handicrafts and souvenirs.
The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure. After the end of your tour, you can choose to stay on in the market or go back to the hotel. Alternatively, you may wish to have a look at the Bergen Aquarium, which supposedly houses one of the finest and most extensive collections of marine fauna in Europe . We also recommend an excursion to mount Fløien , which offers a panoramic view of Bergen and the surrounding area, Check out the magnificent views over the surroundings islands. Numerous paths offer easy walks through beautiful woodland terrain with lakes and mountains. Or you may wish to visit Troldhaugen, Edvard Grieg's home for 22 years.
Later, return to the hotel.

Day 7 – 10 th June 2008 - Fly Bergen to Stockholm (B,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Stockholm . On arrival, coach transfer to the hotel.
After you have completed your check in formalities, the rest of the day will be at leisure for exploring one of the most beautiful capitals in the World.
Stockholm , the capital of Sweden , is often called the Venice of the North due to its numerous canals and waterways. It is a beautiful, vibrant city which offers many interesting cafes and restaurants and has become an eldorado for shoppers. Discover the small shops in Södermalm, the city's bohemian district. Because of the many canals surrounding the city, there are possibilities for a number of different boat excursions. Alternatively, you could consider an optional tour – “Under the Bridges of Stockholm” cruise. You would need to simply walk to the harbour to take the cruise. During the boat trip, you can see the whole of Stockholm from the water, you pass under 15 bridges and through two locks. will be travelling on both the sea and on lake Mälaren and we will see all the well-known buildings.
Tonight, dinner will be at an Indian restaurant.
Accommodation at Rica Hotel Stockholm (or similar).
Day 8 – 11 th June 2008 - Stockholm Sightseeing; Travel to Helsinki (B,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning, after breakfast, you will enjoy city tour of Stockholm . The City tour includes a visit to old town (Gamla Stan) with its cobbled streets and merchants houses, the Magnificent Town Hall , Royal Palace and the Vasa Ship Museum (entrances included).
We can also offer an optional tour for those who wish to see the Drottningholm Palace (additional cost). A former Royal summer residence, the Drottningholm Palace is today home of the Royal family and is a UNESCO World Heritage Sight.
Later, the transfer to the port will be arranged for you. 17:00 hrs: Overnight ferry with the Tallink/Silja Line from Stockholm to Helsinki . Accommodation in a 2-berth inside cabin on board the Tallink/Silja Line . Dinner buffet served on board.
Day 9 – 12 th June 2008 - Helsinki Arrival ; City tour (B,D)
Breakfast on board.
On arrival to Helsinki this morning, you will be picked up from the pier and you will begin a panoramic tour of Helsinki .
Helsinki , the capital of Finland since 1917, was founded by King Gustav Vasa of Sweden in 1550. Helsinki is a compact and beautiful city that is ideal for seeing on foot. Art enthusiasts will love Helsinki and its large number of high quality museums and galleries. Helsinki is also an important city for design and architecture. The Cathedral of Helsinki is a must and is perhaps the most photographed and recognisable building in Finland .
Helsinki is beautifully seated at the sea and has an unique architecture. Sights: market hall, Cathedral, Senates Square , Sibelius-Monument, Temple Church , parliament and Finlandia Hall (entrances included).
The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure. Or, you could opt for an optional tour of the famous lakes of Finland .
Finland Lakes & Forest :
The Nuuksio National Park is about 45 minute drive from Helsinki and covers a large area of beautiful Finnish nature. The park forms part of the large Nuuksio lake uplands, a region that has survived in an almost natural state. There are 38 lakes and ponds in the park and a lot of berries and mushrooms grow there during the summer and fall. In the area there live a large amount of birds, moose and deer.
During the tour a professional nature guide will tell about the features of Finnish nature. You will see a part of the park and take a one to one and a half hour 1.8 miles (3 kilometres) walk along forest paths. After the walk there is time to enjoy coffee and tea and Finnish sweet bread by an open fire in a traditional Lappish kota tent and take a quick dip in the lake.

Day 10 – 13 th June 2008- Morning at leisure ; Fly back home (B)
This morning, after breakfast, the day will be at leisure. You can use the time to walk around Helsinki to explore its sights and sounds or visit its many museums.
Later this afternoon, the transfer to the airport will be arranged for you.
You will be booked on a flight from Helsinki to Mumbai.
