Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali Serena Hotel, Kigali:
On this day of arrival, you will be met by your safari guide who will transfer you to hotel in Kigali for relaxation and overnight .
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park:
This day you will wake up to breakfast at the lodge, after which you will check out and head for city tour in Kigali with visit to war memorial museum before driving headed to volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Volcanoes National Park:
Today after an energizing breakfast, you will embark on your gorilla trek. Before 8 am report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the rangers; the guides will then lead you through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from half an hour to 7 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking boots. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas and you are allowed exactly one hour with the gorillas before returning to the lodge for relaxation
Day 4: Departure:
You will wake up to breakfast, after which you will be transferred to back to Kigali. Upon arrival, your will dropped off the airport for your outbound flight.
