White Haven Estate is situated at Dharamshala at an elevation of 4500 feet (1500m) above sea level, in the beautiful Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh. The property is surrounded by its tea gardens and private forests, and commands a breath-taking and panoramic view of the Dhauladhar mountains.

Formerly known as "East Home", the house belonged to Robert Shaw, the great European adventurer and trader, and the first European to enter the Central Asian city of Kashgarh. He planted the tea garden around 1857.

Located in a 250 acre garden, the house has tastefully furnished, well kept large size suites, with TV, phone and refrigerator. Free accommodation is provided on the premises for accompanying servants, drivers (chauffeurs). Garages as well as spacious open tarmac for safe and secure parking are provided in the premises.
