Day 1 : Arrive into Melbourne

Day 2 : Melbourne : Great Ocean Road Self Drive
Breakfast at Hotel.
This morning, you will drive down the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy one of the
world’s great coastal drives, with its dramatic scenery of striking
contrasts. The region boasts powerful seas, golden beaches, peaceful townships,
giant cliffs and lush forests. Enjoy views of Melbourne and Port Phillip
Bay from the West Gate Bridge. Stroll along the pristine sandy beaches
and wander through sleepy seaside holiday towns. View majestic monoliths
abruptly rising from the sea. Discover the deep fern gullies and eucalypt
trees as they meet the sheer coast that plunges into the sparkling Southern
Ocean. Hear the legends of ‘The Shipwreck Coast’, enjoy traditional
billy tea, stop for photos and relax while savouring breathtaking coastal
panoramas.
Tour the length of the Great Ocean Road passing towering limestone cliffs,
sweeping white beaches and stunning forest scenery • See the amazing
Twelve Apostles – limestone stacks rising dramatically from the

Day 3 : Melbourne: Penguin Parade Plus
Breakfast at hotel.
Get close to the remarkable penguins and wildlife of Australia. Phillip
Island is home to an astounding array of wildlife, including Australia’s
largest fur seal colony, the Little Penguins and cuddly koalas. Enjoy
getting close to koalas and kangaroos before joining the Little Penguins
at dusk as they emerge from the surf and waddle to their burrows. The
Phillip Island Nature Park also offers three up-close ways to witness
the Penguin spectacle.
• Visit Warrook, a working cattle farm in the prosperous Gippsland
region. Enjoy the opportunity to pat and feed kangaroos, wallabies and
a host of farm animals • Encounter koalas in their natural habitat
at the Koala Conservation Centre • Stroll along elevated boardwalks
and spot koalas in the trees • Browse through the educational Phillip

Day 4: Fly Melbourne - Launceston

Welcome To Tasmania! Arrive into Launceston. Pick up your self-drive car
rental at the airport and drive to your hotel.

by mountains, Launceston is Tasmania's living heritage. A friendly city
graced with magnificent Victorian streetscapes and lovingly maintained
historic architecture. Be mesmerised by the drama, romance and sheer natural
awe of Cataract Gorge.

Day 5: Drive
To Cradle Mountain
Drive to Cradle Mountain this morning, where you can enjoy the remarkable
wilderness area of Cradle Mountain National Park. Experience the solitude
this World Heritage Park has to offer. Wander the shores of Dove Lake
beneath Cradle Mountain.
Overnight at the Cradle Mountain Lodge.
Day 6 : Day at Cradle Mountain Lodge
Cradle Mountain Lodge is an iconic, unique wilderness experience and is
the closest you can be to the entrance of the spectacular World Heritage-listed
Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park
Enjoy a range of optional guided adventure activities at the Lodge from
mountain biking to Native Animal Night Viewing, quad biking and horse
riding.

Day 7: Cradle
Mountain - Hobart
This morning, leave for Hobart. With the River Derwent at its heart and
Mount Wellington rising above it, in Hobart the tranquility of a city
from a bygone era coexists with the vibrancy of a pocket-sized modern
metropolis. Discover Australia’s history in the nearby Tasmanian
Museum and Art Gallery. Hobart is a place of fishing boats, fish punts
at the docks, and coffee under the sun-umbrellas where the famous Salamanca
Market is held every Saturday. Tours to consider: Take a harbour cruise
past square-rigged yachts, or drive to the summit of Mount Wellington
for a bird’s eye view of the intricate pattern of islands and estuaries
that reach out to the sea beyond. Visit Cadburys Chocolate Factory

Day 8: Depart Hobart to Sydney
Morning at leisure in Hobart. Take a late afternoon flight to Sydney after
